The doctoral programs at Nova Southeastern University Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing allow you to focus on a career path in teaching or in practice. Both programs cater to the busy, working professional who seeks convenience and the highest standards of quality.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) This program is fully online with a two- to three-day summer institute at the Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus. It is a practice-focused terminal degree that prepares graduates for specialty clinical practice or executive leadership.
D.N.P. to Ph.D. This program is fully online with a yearly, one week summer institute at the Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus. Join a group of D.N.P. nurses who are interested in a career in nursing education and want to further their education to complete a Ph.D. in Nursing with focus on Nursing Education.
Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (Ph.D.) with focus on Nursing Education This program is fully online with a yearly, one week summer institute at the Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus. This immersion experience prepares you to transition into research, leadership, and teaching in a college setting.
