Dr. Masella teaches in the traditional master’s track concentrations of nursing education and executive nurse leadership. She has taught at various levels of nursing education and previously taught at Palm Beach Community College where she served as program director for
the associate degree program. At Florida Atlantic University she served as a teaching assistant and clinical faculty for the BSN program. At Palm Beach Atlantic University she served as Dean for the BSN-DNP and traditional bachelor of nursing programs.

Dr. Masella no longer engages in clinical practice but her clinical specialization was medicalsurgical nursing.

Her research interest is related to student success and retention factors, along with resilience
factors for retention for students and faculty.
