Entry B.S. in Nursing
If you're interested in earning your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.), NSU's Entry B.S. in Nursing program could be a great fit. This program allows you to earn your B.S.N. in twenty months once you have completed the prerequisite course requirements. Eligible applicants should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a science GPA or 2.75 or higher, both on a 4.0 scale.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Are you ready to make the switch and dive into a nursing career that allows you to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care? If you already have a bachelor's degree, then Nova Southeastern University's accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for you. Eligible applicants should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a science GPA or 2.75 or higher, both on a 4.0 scale. Graduate with a B.S.N. in just four semesters.

Applicants who receive more than one failing grade (defined as a grade below a "C") in any of the following prerequisite courses will not qualify for admission to the BSN/ABSN program.
*Lab failures will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

- Anatomy and Physiology II*
- Biology (Nursing Pathway Students Only)
Prerequisite Course Requirements
These courses must be taken before you can begin the B.S.N. coursework:

- Nutrition: Three semester hours
- Anatomy and Physiology: At least eight semester hours with lab
- Six semester hours of combined anatomy and physiology with three semester hours of biology may be substituted.
General Education Requirements*
These requirements must be fulfilled before you can begin the B.S.N. coursework:

- Mathematics: Six semester hours
- Algebra for College Students and Applied Statistics
- Written Communication: Six semester hours
- College-level written composition
- Social Behavioral Sciences: Six semester hours
- One PSYC and Human Growth and Development
- Arts and Humanities: Six semester hours
- Any HIST, ARTS, PHIL, HUMN, LITR, THEA, FILM, MUSC, DANC, WRIT, SPCH or foreign language
- Natural/Physical Sciences: Six semester hours
- Chemistry: At least three semester hours
- Microbiology: At least three semester hours
- Open Electives: Nine semester hours
- Medical Terminology recommended**
- Mathematics: Six semester hours

**Students must have a minimum of 56 credits to enter the program. Any remaining needed credits can be filled by open electives.

International applicants coursework taken at foreign institutions must be evaluated for U.S. institutional equivalence by an approved National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) organization such as one of the services listed below.
It is the applicant's responsibility to have this coursework evaluated. An official
course-by-course evaluation with a cumulative grade point average must be sent directly
from the evaluation service.
