Dr. Williams-Newman teaches maternity nursing, leadership, ethics, the Business of Health care, and the Profession of Nursing. 

She is interested the in care of the pregnant, laboring, and delivered woman and her newborn baby. 

Dr. Williams-Newman’s research interests are related to cultural diversity in health care, simulation application and benefits in health care education, and social media usage in nursing education.
