As a nurse educator, Dr. Campbell has 10-years of teaching experience. She began her professional teaching career as a clinical instructor in the acute care setting. She also served as Director of Nursing of an associate degree nursing program. Most recently she taught as an adjunct instructor at Capella University for 5-years.

Dr. Campbell has more than 12 years of management experience. During her 25-years of nursing experience, she focused primarily on medical-surgical nursing. Areas of clinical expertise include women’s services, bariatrics, rhinoplasty, nutritional disorders, and urological disorders.

Her research interest is alternative teaching strategies and methodologies to educate the next generation of nurses.
