Student Government Association and Nursing Student Association
The student organizations at the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing are the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Nursing Student Association (NSA). The SGA and NSA is consider matters presented by the student body, faculty, or administration in developing programs that represent the fundamental interests and concerns of NSU nursing students, promote school spirit, and foster leadership skills.
The SGA organization is located on the Fort Lauderdale campus. However, the leadership team is composed of undergraduate student representatives from our three undergraduate programs on the Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, and Miami campuses. The NSA organization is located on the campuses of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, and Miami.
Would you like to use your voice and promote student welfare and bring better community relations to the College of Nursing? If so, then SGA and NSA need you. We encourage you to get involved and speak with your program director for more information on nursing student organizations. You may also explore other organizations at Nova Southeastern University.
