Welcome to the College of Nursing (CON) Student Affairs.

Our Office of Student Affairs is dedicated to unifying the college by increasing resources and services for students. From financial aid and student events to counseling and career services, our goal is to support you throughout your nursing journey.

Student Government Association and Nursing Student Association

The student organizations at the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing (ACON) are the ACON Student Government Association (SGA) and the Nursing Student Association (NSA). The purpose of the SGA and NSA is to consider matters presented by the student body, faculty, or administration in developing student programs that represent the fundamental interests and concerns of ACON nursing students, promote school spirit, and foster leadership skills.

The SGA organization is located on the Fort Lauderdale campus; however, the leadership team is comprised of undergraduate student representatives from our three undergraduate programs located on the Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, and Miami campuses. The NSA organization is located on the campuses of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, and Miami.

Would you like to use your voice and promote student welfare and bring better community relations to the College of Nursing? If so, then SGA and NSA need you. We encourage you to get involved and speak with your program director for more information on the ACON student organizations. You may also explore other organizations within Nova Southeastern University. To learn more, visit NSU SharkHub.
